If you were like me, you were taught as a kid that honesty is the best policy. And at some point, most of us learned the hard way just how troublesome dishonesty can be. Tell one lie, and you end up having to tell other lies to keep the first one covered up. And sooner or later, those lies get exposed. We keep saying it here, the truth matters. And eventually, it always comes out.
In the last few days, we have seen more and more of the popular but false narratives getting debunked. But what do the liars then do to try and avoid being exposed? Tell more lies, side-step the issue, and reinvent their narrative to pretend that they weren’t really wrong. We see them changing their position, while they try to convince us that their new stance was the one they always had.

Welcome everyone to the Kingdom Hero Show! I want to thank you so much for spending a little time with me here. I realize that you could be doing a lot of other things, and your time is valuable, so it’s very gratifying to me that you are here right now.
Our mission statement, the reason we’re here – To advance the Kingdom of God through study of the Word and making real-world application of Godly character and Kingdom-mindedness.
And our central theme passage of scripture is from Micah 6:8 – “Seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” So with this in mind, let’s get started.
What is gaslighting? Where does the term come from? Well, gaslighting is a colloquialism, loosely defined as making someone question their own reality. The term may also be used to describe a person who presents a false narrative to another group or person which leads them to doubt their perceptions and become misled, disoriented or distressed.
The term gaslighting derives from the 1938 play and 1944 film Gaslight, in which a husband manipulates his wife into thinking she has a mental illness by dimming their gas-fueled lights and telling her she is hallucinating. It’s all in your head, babe.
Today, this term is used to describe the tendency of the left to lie to the public about a situation in order to mislead them. It can also refer to their attempts to hide their flip-flopping stances on things by insisting their new position was always their position, and they deny their previous stance ever existed. Kinda like ret conning, or rewriting history.
Now, let me interject here again that it’s not just those obviously on the left who attempt to deceive. I never want to give the impression that all democrats are liars and all republicans are truthful. There are plenty of people in the center/right who are just as deceitful as anyone. It’s just that most of the examples I can give you are folks who lean to the far far left.
Those who crave power and control are more apt to be guilty of gaslighting and other manipulation tactics because they have the most reason to do so. This is precisely what’s been happening with the fear-mongering the left has been engaged in over this whole covid scare.
But as time goes on, and more truth comes out (as it always does), these perpetrators of gloom and doom are being forced to revise their narrative to account for it. For example, a year and a half ago – almost two years ago now – when some of us on the right suggested the covid numbers were inflated due to people being hospitalized and/or dying with covid and not from covid, we were called deniers, anti-science, and conspiracy theorists. But now the evidence is in, a different man is in the White House, and the narrative suddenly changes.
Remember when Trump was president and then candidate Biden said any president with over 200,000 covid deaths on his watch should step down? Remember that? Now under president Biden, there are even more listed covid deaths – but is he stepping down? No, no. He can’t be blamed. He’s protected from that by the leftist democrats and the mainstream media. Instead, they are now publicly recognizing that an awful lot of these deaths aren’t due to covid at all.
We said 2 years ago – and I mean, a lot of people said it – remember that group of physicians who stood up and tried to reassure folks that covid didn’t have to be a death-sentence? America’s Frontline Doctors, about a dozen or so highly successful physicians posted videos telling how they were successfully treating covid patients and effectively curing them with a cocktail of hydroxy chloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin.
They also pointed out, as did many others, that people who had died with covid had several other co-morbidities. In other words, they were people who were unhealthy already, and covid was NOT what killed them, or at least not the primary cause. And how did the media and others on the left respond at the time? They called them unqualified, they called them fringe, and they said they were spreading false or misleading information. Ha! Okay…
Fast forward to January 2022. What are those same people saying now? The CDC, the NIH, Fauci and all those who hyped covid up into this monstrous killer that was taking hundreds of thousands of lives – today they are interestingly saying what we said nearly 2 years ago. Check out these clips and see what I mean.
First up, this is our beloved CDC director, Rochelle Walenski just the other day…

75 percent?! Are you hearing this? We were saying this over a year and a half ago and being called deniers and conspiracy theorists. Now they admit 75 percent of these hundreds of thousands of covid deaths aren’t really covid deaths, but instead people who died of other causes and just happened to have covid. Unbelievable. They couldn’t admit this when Trump was in office, no no! But now, they have to change their tune.
There’s more, folks. Here’s the self-proclaimed embodiment of science himself, Doctor Anthony Fauci. He’s waffled his position so many times, it’s ridiculous. I can’t believe anyone still listens to him and takes him seriously. But here he is, having to admit recently that around 40 percent or so of people hospitalized with covid are NOT hospitalized because of covid. No, their covid cases are mild and non-life-threatening. So the numbers are being inflated by inaccurate statistics, he says. The numbers were ALWAYS over exaggerated because of how they were counted. We said this nearly 2 years ago. We said they were counting every hospitalization and death as covid cases, whether it was a car crash or broken leg or whatever.
Hospitals automatically tested for covid, regardless of why people came in. And even when the covid cases weren’t serious or life-threatening, it was all deemed covid covid covid. Everything was covid. What brings you in today? Well, doc, I have this odd tightness in my chest and my left arm feels numb. Okay then, we better test you for covid. Yeah, and you probably noticed no one got the flu in the last couple of years – no, it was all covid.
They refused to acknowledge this faulty counting back then because they were trying to hype it up and scare everyone, all the while blaming Trump, but now it’s a different story. Biden campaigned on ending the pandemic. They can’t have these inflated covid numbers making him look like a failure. However, they still want to control us. They still want to keep us frightened. They still want to force the vaccine on us. So their evolving narrative is beginning to crumble. People are realizing they’ve been lied to, and so now all these leftists are trying to cover their collective behinds.

The narrative of the left is imploding, folks. And it’s bound to happen. Constructing an elaborate web of deceit is like building a house of cards. It’s not a matter of IF it will eventually fall apart, but a matter of WHEN. But deceivers will continue to deceive.
I’ve said this before, too. They had to change the definition of the word vaccine in order to even CALL this shot a vaccine. You know, coming up with an actual vaccine for a deadly disease is a noble pursuit. It is. I believe that. And even though they also changed the definition of anti-vaxxer – if you don’t believe me, look it up on Merriam Webster’s website – I am not anti-vax. I believe in vaccines that actually work.
What they came up with instead, is an injectable treatment that may help lessen the effects of the virus. I hate to break it to you, but that’s not a vaccine. You want to talk about things like rubella, polio, small pox, and so on? Those vaccines – which are normally administered right after birth – they actually do what a vaccine is supposed to do. They destroy or countermand the virus itself and render it inert or harmless. But that’s not what these jabs they want to give you now do at all.
Think about this for a moment. You get the polio vaccine and guess what? You don’t get polio. You get a rubella vaccine and YAY! You don’t get rubella. Awesome! But now, you get the so-called covid vaccine, and you can still GET and TRANSMIT covid. What? Exactly how can that be considered a vaccine again? This thing STILL isn’t FDA approved like other vaccines. It’s experimental. They try to claim otherwise, but it IS experimental, and guess who the guinea pigs are?
On top of that, all the REAL vaccines didn’t become mandatory until after a minimum of 10 years of study and proving their effectiveness. That hasn’t happened with these current shots – it’s been nowhere even close to that yet. So, why would they try to mandate it? I’ll tell you. Trust me, folks. This is not about public health at all, but rather it’s about setting a precedent by which they can control us with something far more sinister in the future. That’s why standing up against the mandates is a must.
With the unconstitutionality of the Biden vax mandates before the US Supreme Court recently, we learned that even the highest court in the land was not immune to the pervasiveness of lies. And I mean lies from the bench by a Supreme Court Justice. Thankfully, SCOTUS ultimately ruled against the mandates. Or at least the OSHA one. But once again, we feature Sonia Sotomayor making outrageous claims. Here, justice Sotomayor tells a doozy in court. It’s a wonder her robe didn’t catch on fire…

Folks, this is beyond embarrassing. I mean, that one of our top nine judges, an actual United States Supreme Court Justice, someone who is responsible for interpreting the law of the land, would tell such a blatant lie like this – it truly boggles the mind. Did she miss-speak? I don’t know, I doubt it. Talk about false and misleading information. This woman should not be on the Supreme Court. She’s an embarrassment to the country.
100,000 kids hospitalized with covid? Not even close. About 3500 in total since the quote-unquote pandemic began. Let’s see, 3500… 100,000… I mean, she was only off by like 97%. No big deal, right? And I wonder how many of those kids were in the hospital for something other than covid. We know children are not in a high risk category, so I’m guessing a more accurate number would be far less than that.
Brett Bair interviewed Rochele Walensky on Fox News, played that clip of Sotomayor’s ridiculous falsehood, and asked (her) basically to acknowledge the lie. Here’s how that went…

See how she avoided the real question there? This is what they do when cornered with indisputable truth. They deflect, they dance around the issue, and then they double down on the fear campaign. ‘Cause they gotta keep that going, right?
In a subsequent press conference, and before the ruling, Jen Psaki was confronted with the same thing. Sotomayor lied from the bench about 100,000 kids hospitalized with covid. But did Psaki own up to the truth? Of course not. Listen…

Really? You won’t speak to the fact that a US Supreme Court Justice lied and disgraced herself and the court itself. Well, how convenient. You’re just going to ignore this obvious lie and claim it’s because this is a current Supreme Court case. Uhm, that never stopped anyone from trashing Justice Cavenaugh or any other conservative judges during a Supreme Court case. Sounds like a cop-out to me, Jen.
And after the Supreme Court knocked down the Biden mandates, her response was to continue encouraging businesses and employers to enforce them anyway.

I’m sorry, but that response is not only incorrect – it’s completely pathetic and clearly illustrates your lack of character. But thanks a lot for playing!

By the way, here’s something else you might not know about Sotomayor. When being considered as a possible nominee to the Supreme Court, one of Obama’s advisors strongly recommended that he not pick her. He essentially said that she’s not very smart and that her only appealing qualities were that she was a female and a Latina. Of course, that was good enough for Obama because it was all about the optics. She became the first “woman of color” and first “Hispanic American” appointed to the Supreme Court. Made Obama look good to nominate her, as well as the democrat majority senate who confirmed her in August of 2009.
You listen to her just a little bit, and it’s easy to conclude that she isn’t the brightest bulb in the chandelier. This is the same woman who made that insane comment about spontaneous acts by dead brained people in an attempt to discount the fact that unborn infants will recoil in pain when being aborted.

Clearly, she is not all there. And after further disgracing herself with that gross exaggeration of 100,000 children being hospitalized with covid – from the bench of the Supreme Court – yeah, she really ought to step down. But will she? Of course not. She’ll laugh it off as no big deal, just like the rest of the left who pretend that their lies about covid and climate change and everything else aren’t really lies at all. No, they have our best interests at heart, right? Sure.
I mean, so what if these people just continually lie to us about everything? So what if Biden shut down the Keystone Pipeline and put thousands of people out of work? So what if that reversed our energy independence and made us once again reliant upon foreign oil? So what if they’re using the hoax of man-made climate change to control what we drive and where we get our energy? So what if they increase the national debt and raise the debt ceiling higher and higher? So what if they keep raising our taxes while raising they’re own salaries?
[Homer clip – no biggie, I’m cool] You okay with that?
So what if the 2020 Election was compromised and rigged to put Biden in office? So what if Fauci colluded with the Chinese and participated in gain of function research which resulted in the creation and release of CoViD-19? So what if they exaggerated the covid numbers during Trump’s administration and make excuses for the numbers now during Biden’s term? I’m sure it’s all for the greater good, isn’t it?

So what if this has been going on for years and years and years? So what if Obama gave millions of dollars to terrorists? So what if Hillary kept reinforcements from saving the lives of those who died in Bengazi? So what if Bill dropped his pants and disgraced the Oval Office with Monica? So what? What’s the big deal, right?

Well, some of us still believe that the truth matters and integrity is important.

At the top of the show, I mentioned the old adage honesty is the best policy. Here’s another one, remember this? Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. Clever, it even rhymes. These aren’t just sayings, folks. They impart a basic truth. Lying is toxic to the soul, and it leads to all manner of bad things. Deception is not only dangerous to the deceived, but also to the deceiver.
Look with me in the Bible passage about Ananias & Sapphira. It’s found in Acts chapter 5, but you kinda need to go back a little into chapter 4 to understand the context. Acts 4:32-37 tells how this group of believers were so committed to one another that many were selling property they owned and bringing all of the proceeds to the apostles to be distributed among all the people according to the need.
This wasn’t something they had to do, but rather something they chose to do because – as the text reads – they were all “of one heart” and so they wanted to see to one another’s needs. That brings us to the beginning of chapter 5 where Ananias and his wife Sapphira come into the picture.
Like several others, Ananias sold a piece of property. But unlike the others, he and his wife Sapphira agreed to keep a portion of the proceeds for themselves. That in itself wasn’t the worst part. They also agreed to present the rest of the amount to the apostles as if it was the full amount of the sale.
Now we can speculate on why this couple decided to commit such a deception. But it’s obvious that they didn’t want anyone to know that they were keeping part of the money for themselves. And they likely wanted to be seen as being just as generous and giving as these other people had been. So they lied. Not just to the group, and not just to the apostles, but also to the Holy Spirit. And we read in Acts 5 how that didn’t go so well for them…
1 But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2 and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.” 5 When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6 The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.
7 After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.” 9 But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.
Let that sink in. Marinate on this for a while. They conspired together to commit fraud, to secretly take personal gain from the transaction and then lie about it. They wanted to be viewed as righteous and generous, all while behaving deviously and misrepresenting the facts. Does this sound like anyone we’ve heard of recently?
So what happened here? Did Ananias and Sapphira each have heart attacks or embolisms or something? Did God Himself strike them dead for their blatant defiance of the Holy Spirit? Perhaps the question we ought to be asking is, have I ever been guilty of this level of deception? Or how about this question: Can liars be trusted?
Can we trust people who rig elections to keep elections fair? Can we trust corrupt politicians who supported and excused terrorist groups like BLM and Antifa while they’re rioting and burning down cities and calling to defund the police – can we trust them to keep our cities safe?
Can we trust a judge like Sotomayor who lied in court about the number of kids with covid – a judge who regularly makes such asinine arguments as she did to explain away fetuses recoiling in pain while being murdered in the womb, comparing it to the autonomic response of someone just taken off life support who’s foot may still recoil if touched – [clip – spontaneous acts by dead brained people] – can we trust such a person to fairly dole out justice?
Can we trust a man like Fauci – who lied under oath to congress about participating in gain of function research and now recovered emails show that he did – when there was a moratorium domestically on such research because everyone, including Obama, said it was too dangerous, so Fauci plots with Chinese officials to have it done in the lab in Wuhan – can we trust such a man as that to have our best interests and health in mind?
Can we trust a mainstream media that has lied to us repeatedly in a coordinated effort with corrupt government officials to keep us misinformed, afraid, and compliant – they lied about the Russian collusion hoax, the Steele dossier, the border crisis, the Hunter Biden laptop, the mostly peaceful riots with all the looting and burning buildings and destruction, the deadliness of covid, the effectiveness of masks, you name it – can we trust people like that to give us straight news without bias or to tell us the truth about anything?
Folks, I could go on and on like this. Seriously, I’ve hardly scratched the surface. But I think the obvious answer to all these questions and hundreds more like them is a resounding NO! These people cannot be trusted. They are dishonest, greedy, power-hungry, elitist, fear-mongering con-artists.
Now yes, Fauci is under investigation. Yes, the Hillary Clinton camp is being investigated. There are all these investigations going on that no one is talking about in the mainstream media. Do I think Hillary or Fauci will ever actually be made to pay for their crimes? No, I feel there’s too much corruption in the justice system right now. It just won’t happen.
Bill Clinton wasn’t brought to justice for his womanizing, accusations of rape, and lying to the American people about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Others aren’t being held accountable for their wrongdoing. But that doesn’t mean we should throw up our hands and give up either.
The day of God’s judgment will come when all will face justice. On that day, just like with Ananias and Sapphira, there will be no escape from swift and just punishment. Until then, there will always be those who get away with things and try to exert power over us, if we let them.
The good news is, those people only have as much power as we allow them. Resist the wicked. Speak out and don’t let them silence you. Be bold. Arm yourself with the truth so you can recognize and refute the lies. Don’t be deceived. Don’t buy what they’re selling. Seek justice, and don’t settle for anything less.
God has blessed us with so much, and soldiers have fought and died to our preserve freedom. To simply sit by while the corrupt powers of wickedness undermine and destroy all of that, isn’t acceptable. To do that would mean being really awful stewards of what we’ve been given, don’t you think? I’m just sayin’.
