Winter Wishes from the White House, and My Twitter Flak

It was once customary for a sitting president and first lady to offer best wishes to the country during the Christmas season. This year, the message from the White House was – well – different. We’ll talk about that, plus the ongoing covid scare, as well as some flak I recently caught on my Twitter account.

This will be the final episode of 2021, as I’ll be taking some time off for the remainder of the holidays. I sincerely hope you enjoy the show, and I also hope you have a blessed Christmas and happy new year.

As usual, let’s start with our mission statement: To advance the Kingdom of God through study of the Word and making real-world application of Godly character and Kingdom-mindedness.

Our central theme passage of scripture is from Micah 6:8… “Seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” With all this in mind, let’s jump into today’s episode. Let the Kingdom Heroics begin!

Alright, welcome again to the Kingdom Hero Show. As I said, this will be the last episode of the program this year. But rest assured, the podcast WILL return in January. So, okay, let’s get into this…

As far back as I can remember, whoever was president of the United States has offered words of encouragement and well-wishes whenever Christmas rolled around. Carter did it, Reagan did it, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2… Now I admit I don’t specifically recall Obama doing it, but I feel like he probably did. Of course, I DO recall that they started moving away from saying Merry Christmas during his time in office, leaning more toward a general Happy Holidays. I also remember that Trump restored the Merry Christmas expression as president.

Now, here we are at Biden’s first Christmas as president. But the traditional well-wishes from the Oval Office isn’t quite what we received from him recently. Instead, in a continuation of the fear-mongering that the left is notorious for, Biden had these words to offer the American people…

Wow. That’s pretty grim. Instead of wishing the country well this holiday season, he tells anyone who isn’t vaccinated that they’re headed for a winter of sickness and death. Man, that’s a far cry from Merry Christmas, isn’t it? Frankly, all kidding aside, it is pretty disgusting to say something like this to the American people. It’s based in a false narrative, and fueled by the left’s desire to keep us afraid and divided.

Yeah, you stubborn morons who still refuse to get the shots aren’t going to have a wonderful time with family this Christmas. No, you’re gonna end up really sick, clogging up the hospitals, and probably die. This attitude by the left, and by this president, is despicable. And they seem to truly love to use this virus to scare people into submission – to frighten folks into giving up their personal liberty.

Worse yet, they use it to continually drive a wedge between the vaxxed and the unvaxxed. They refuse to talk about the various reasons why so many people have decided this vaccine is not in their best interest. Many have already had covid and now possess the antibodies that serve as better protection than the shots. Natural immunity is a real thing, and the left doesn’t want to acknowledge it. Some people have medical conditions that make the vaccine a dangerous option for them. Still others have other concerns.

And many people simply are in a very low-risk category and can see no point in getting a vaccine that has had so many problems. What problems? You haven’t heard about the pitfalls of these jabs? Well that’s not surprising either, since the mainstream media doesn’t talk about it.

There are a lot of under-reported instances of adverse reactions to the vaccine. There’s also the admitted fact that its effectiveness fades after a few weeks, leading to the need for more shots. Then there’s the fact that you can actually still catch covid after the jab, and you can still pass it on to someone else. Not to mention the fact that none of the current vaccines available are designed to protect from the latest variant.

Oh, and president Biden and his leftist cohorts are loving every minute of every opportunity to get us all scared stiff about Omicron. They’re quick to point out that this variant is 70% more transmissible than the original virus. What they aren’t so forthcoming about is the fact that the data still suggests Omicron is also a heck of a lot more tame by comparison. The cases are mild. Mild! We’re talking about something that seems more like a cold, and it’s way less dangerous than the flu.

But no, that doesn’t matter. According to the statement from the White House, any of us who aren’t vaxxed are in for a winter of death. Even though, again, the data does NOT support this pessimistic prediction. Again, none of the current shots protect from Omicron – which, even though it’s the mildest variant yet, will likely kill you this winter.

Gloom and doom. That’s all they have, folks. Whether it’s covid or climate change, greenhouse gases, oh we all have to reduce our carbon footprints, we have to get rid of fossil fuels, stop using oil, buy electric cars, blah blah blah! I’m sick of it. And I’m reminded of something the great radio legend Rush Limbaugh once said. Instead of Roosevelt’s line “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself,” Rush said the theme of the left was “the only thing we have to offer is fear itself.” That pretty much sums them up.

They won’t admit the truth about alternative treatments – like azithromycin, zinc, hydroxy chloroquine, Ivermectin, Aspirin, vitamin D… And they don’t admit the truth about the virus itself only being dangerous for people in high-risk categories – such as the elderly and people who are otherwise immune compromised due to other health conditions. Not to mention that the survival rate for covid is still a whopping 98+%!

That’s because this is not about public health, but about control. Take these shots, we order you! When they can’t control you through mandates, they use a campaign of fear. You’d better get these shots, or you will likely get very sick and die! When fear doesn’t work, they use guilt. You stubborn unvaxxed people, how dare you endanger the lives of others who are doing the right thing and getting vaxxed?! Shameful.

No, what’s truly shameful is this constant onslaught from the corrupt powers-that-be, attempting to control every aspect of our lives.

So this statement Biden made really got my righteous indignation riled up. And I posted it on my personal Twitter account with my own response to it, which – no big surprise – upset a few folks in the Twitterverse. Let me play this cut again really quick, and then I’ll tell you what happened with my social media response…

Okay. Now, I took those words for what they really are – face value. This is effectually a curse. You may disagree, and that’s fine, but follow me here. The statement, “You’re in for a winter of sickness and death” – essentially what he said – makes a declaration of negative, horrible things happening. A declaration, meaning this WILL happen to you. To me, yeah, that’s a curse. So, I responded to it as such.

I tweeted the quote from his statement and replied with the following: “I categorically reject and rebuke this outrageous curse, as my fate is neither in the hands of virus nor tyrant but rather in the capable and caring hands of Almighty God.” Right? That’s it. And to be honest, I actually did get a lot more positive responses from this tweet than negative. Lots of retweets and tons of likes.

Indeed, from a Christian perspective, my proclamation was very faith-affirming and positive. But there were several other people who were less than happy with what I’d said. Some of their replies to me were laced with profanity and even blasphemy, which I didn’t waste time addressing. Some chose to insult me for my ridiculous belief in an Almighty God, which I also didn’t bother with.

I mean, you can’t take those things personally. Scripture tells us the world will despise us because of Christ. So I fully expect to catch that kind of flak from non-believers. Like bomber pilots used to say, “If you aren’t catching flak, you’re not over the target.” And I’ve been in enough pointless keyboard wars to know when it’s just not going to produce any good fruit. But there were a couple of people I felt a need to respond to…

One person indicated that I was being selfish, saying that “Selfishness is so unbecoming and unchristian.” Obviously, this person was jumping to the conclusion that I’m some kind of horrible person – presumably for not getting vaccinated, which I never even stated in my tweet. But, selfish. I just couldn’t let that one slide. So, I replied…

“Selfishness? Really? I haven’t made anyone sick. And I’m not against people who want to get vaxxed. I am, however, against unlawful mandates and the fear-mongering of the left. I’m not ridiculing anyone for their beliefs, yet you and others want to ridicule me for mine.”

And that’s a key thing I want to point out about those on the left. They will berate you without hesitation regarding your beliefs that contradict theirs. They’ll call you names, say you’re stupid, and worse. But all you did was disagree with them. To them, them’s fighting words. How dare you have an opinion different from theirs! You don’t have to ridicule them, either. You can be as respectful as possible, and they’ll still jump on you like you’re the worst human being ever.

Another person I felt compelled to follow up with apparently assumed I was some kind of nut who didn’t believe in science or medicine. In response to my tweet, she said, “And maybe god sent scientists and medical knowledge our way to protect us from disease?” What? Where did THAT come from? What exactly in my statement gave her the impression that I didn’t believe God could work through medicine? I think she misunderstood the premise of my tweet.

Let me go back and re-read what I originally posted. Along with a copy of Biden’s declaration of illness and death, I tweeted, “I categorically reject and rebuke this outrageous curse, as my fate is neither in the hands of virus nor tyrant but rather in the capable and caring hands of Almighty God.” Now, maybe she took from this that I was one of these people who reject medicine in their practice of simply “trusting God.” But, it’s still a bit of a leap.

So again, I responded to her, saying, “You assume too much from my tweet. I’m not against doctors or scientists or even vaccines. I’m against unconstitutional mandates and the fear-mongering the left keeps using to scare us into giving up personal liberty.” I mean, if I’d lead her to think I was saying something that I wasn’t, I just wanted to clear it up.

Some of these other people though, the ones who got nasty and vicious, I won’t even repeat the things they said to me. And, as I said before, it’s not worth my time. But be prepared, folks. When you stand up for what you believe – especially when it comes to your faith – you WILL meet opposition, and it might get ugly. But you can’t let that discourage you. Know that, when that happens, when people vehemently attack you for your Christian beliefs, it’s just confirmation of what Jesus told us would happen.

The gospels talk about how Christ was mocked and ridiculed and publicly humiliated before being crucified. And He told His disciples many times how they would be similarly mocked and hated because of their belief in Him. And this is all true of us, as well.

In Matthew 10:16, He says, “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” He’s warning us here that persecution will come, and we have to be prepared with knowledge of the truth to overcome it.

Matthew 10:22, He says further, “and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake,” then calls us to endure it. There are a lot of people like us today who are enduring the scorn and shaming efforts of the left over our refusal to be manipulated by all the mandates, fear, and guilt trips. We’re hated, made fun of, cancelled and censored, and called deniers and selfish and stupid. And I believe we have to stand our ground, and continue to arm ourselves with the truth. Hold. The. Line.

Tony Fauci, the self-proclaimed representative of science – remember? (impersonating Fauci) When people question me, what they’re really questioning is science because I represent science. Remember that? Well, he was on CNN and he was asked about whether or not people should ask their unvaxxed relatives to stay away this Christmas. (laughs) I’m not making this up. And you can probably guess how that went. Here, listen…

(laughing) I can’t. I’m sorry, folks. The shear lunacy and arrogance on display here is just too much.

Seriously. This guy actually has the nerve to tell families to tell their unvaccinated relatives, don’t bother coming over this Christmas. No, stay away. Maybe you can come over later sometime, but not right now. Sure, okay. Good luck with that. My word, that’s ridiculous.

And speaking of ridiculous, CDC director Rochelle Walenski was answering questions – well, she was dancing around some questions recently. She was asked about her use of a faulty study that has since been discredited – even by leftist sources – uhm, her continued use of that study as justification for mask mandates in schools. She’s either ignorant or she’s just blatantly lying! First, that’s NOT what the study says. Second, she cites numerous mythical studies around the world that don’t even exist. The fact is, that initial study out of Bangladesh was discredited and proven invalid, yet she STILL uses it to justify school mask mandates and claims there are many other studies like it – which there aren’t. It’s insane. And this is our director of the Centers for Disease Control here in Atlanta, GA. Unbelievable.

Let me be very clear here. I’m not anti-science. I’m not anti-medicine. There are a lot of really good scientists out there and physicians doing great work. But these people hyping you up into a panic are not scientists, they’re fear-mongers. And when they say you can’t question it, that’s not science. That’s tyranny. Moving on…

Before closing out this final episode of 2021, I want to say something about masks. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that we’re still having this same discussion that we had well over a year ago now. But there are obviously still a number of people who never got the memo, okay? For those who missed it more than a year ago, I’m gonna break down for you some different types of face-masks and how they work.

First, let me just say that the kinds of masks I see most people wearing are doing very little to zero good at all. In fact, they could be doing you more harm than good, as most people don’t understand the proper way to use them. The masks I’m referring to – the kinds I see most people wearing – are either cloth masks or surgical masks.

Those cloth masks – the ones you get with designs or your favorite team logo on them – they are completely useless, and they’re likely causing problems to your health rather than protecting you from anything. They are designed for comfort and style, not for protection. They don’t filter out ANY contagions whatsoever. All they do for you is give you a false sense of security and keep other people who don’t know any better – ya know, these mask nazis out there who make it their mission to shame unmasked people – it may keep them from annoying you for not wearing one.

On the other hand, the cloth mask DOES trap germs and moisture from your own breath. That moisture will turn into mold within about 20 to 30 minutes, which is apt to make you sick. So, if you’re wearing one of these things for an extended period of time, yeah, sorry – it’s only doing you harm. You may think it looks cool, but that’s what some people use to think about cigarettes.

Here’s an audio cut from Leana Wen. Now understand, Leana Wen is a staunch leftist. She’s on CNN, and she’s someone who has actually stated that the unvaccinated should not even be allowed to leave their homes. Okay? That’s how far to the left she is. But evenso, here is what even Leana Wen has recently admitted about cloth masks being useless. Take a listen…

So, yes, she admits that those cloth masks so many people are wearing are nothing more than decorative. They’re just a fashion statement. However, you also just heard her claim people should be wearing a so-called high quality mask, mentioning a 3-ply surgical mask. Problem there is, she has absolutely NO DATA regarding the effectiveness of the surgical mask. So let me enlighten you.

Surgical masks are very popular among those who feel the need to mask up. But you need to realize how they’re designed to work. A surgical mask is made to be worn in a STERILE environment – yeah, like an operating room. It helps to filter the wearer’s exhaled breath, to keep the sterile room sterile. Surgeons use them to protect a patient, whose insides may be splayed opened during surgery. I mean, the last thing you want to do as a doctor is sneeze into your patient’s body. Right?

That same mask, however, is NOT designed to filter the air you INHALE. It will not protect the wearer from contaminants in the air, let alone something as small as a virus. That’s just not how it works. The surgical mask was never made for that purpose. Compound that with the fact that many people don’t even wear them correctly, and they become kinda pointless. And like the cloth mask, the surgical mask also traps and collects moisture. So if you’re wearing one for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time, once again, you’re doing more harm than good.

I gotta say, this is actually COMMON KNOWLEDGE to people who work day in and day out in the medical field who are worth their salt. Nurses, doctors, even EMTs know this stuff.

I remember when the EMTs brought my dying father home from the care facility so he could pass while among his family. Again, my dad died after years of struggling with dementia and failing health. His cause of death was NOT covid, though it was falsely listed as such on his death certificate. But supposedly, he was exposed to it. So anyway, the EMTs transport him home before he passed away.

These guys bring him in, and what do they see? Members of my family wearing surgical masks. Yeah, and they quickly explained what I already knew from MY time in the medical field – they said, “Those masks you’re wearing aren’t doing anything. They won’t protect you from covid. You need an N-95 mask like we’re wearing.”

And so THAT brings me to the N-95 mask. On my former job in medical transportation, we sometimes used this mask. Unlike the surgical mask, the N-95 is designed for use in contaminated environments. When fitted properly, it will filter the air INHALED by the wearer. So IF you are inclined to wear a mask that protects YOU, the wearer, the N-95 is certainly the way to go.

However, much like the other masks I’ve mentioned, this one ALSO isn’t meant to be worn for extended periods of time. Change it out for a fresh one every 30 minutes or so, or again, you’ll end up doing yourself more harm by breathing in the moisture-turned-mold from your own breath. Yes, it can help a little as long as you wear it properly and for short periods of time.

Now, having said all that, I’m afraid I’ve got something to tell you that renders it all moot. Bad news, sports fans – none of these masks will fully protect you from a virus. Why not? Because these various strains of the virus don’t just infect through the air you breath. The soft tissue of your eyes aren’t covered by these masks, and they won’t prevent you from coming into physical contact with the virus and being infected. You can still catch it from touching a contaminated surface, a handshake, whatever. So all that stuff you just learned about masks seems kinda irrelevant now, doesn’t it?

Now, this information isn’t something that most people know about or understand. I learned about it through necessity because I was regularly around the elderly and others who were more susceptible to covid. But you won’t hear these self-proclaimed “experts” on CNN or MSNBC explain that stuff to you because it goes against their narrative, and they thrive on the people not having accurate information with which to base their own decisions. These people want to TELL you what you’re supposed to think and keep you submissive and dependent upon them.

But folks, I want you to have the facts. I always say, the truth matters. And the Bible is right. Knowing the truth really will set you free. When you are able to make informed decisions for yourself, you become independent and self-sustaining individuals. This is a threat to those who want to impose their will upon you.

They crave power, and they can’t have you thinking for yourself. This is why you have to measure everything they tell you against the truth. When you know the truth, you won’t fall for their lies. And you certainly won’t live in fear like they want you to.

Same thing about covid testing. They tell you to get tested, and there are places – like some airports – that require you to present them with a negative test before you can travel. Biden echoes this pressure tactic and tells you to get tested. Why do I mention this? Because even a negative test is irrelevant seconds after you get it if some infected person breathes on you or shakes your hand or you touch a contaminated surface.

As transmissible as it is, the negative result you get from a test now means nothing less than five minutes later. Yet they keep saying it. Get tested, get tested! And I DO understand that you may want to get tested and know if you have it so you can deal with it. But their logic is flawed when they say a negative result really means anything.

So why DO they tell you to get tested, wear masks, get the shots, lock down, and socially distance? Why do they continue telling us to do all these things that aren’t working? Because they love to tell us what to do. They love exercising the power of ruling our lives.

Recognizing other treatments, or recognizing natural immunity, or acknowledging the flaws in their logic would serve to undermine their stranglehold on you. They won’t do it.

Fear and intimidation are tools of the wicked. We have to recognize these tactics and resist them.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
